This Privacy Policy explains how ThryvePay, a service of Thryve Advisors LLC (“ThryvePay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website at thryvepay.usand our merchant onboarding and application process (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes the choices you have regarding your information. This policy provides general information; the terms that govern any merchant account you open with us are set out in your separate merchant services agreement.
Information we collect
Information you provide to us
We collect information you submit directly, including:
- Contact and lead details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, estimated processing volume, areas of interest, and any message you send us through our forms.
- Merchant application details: business information (legal name, DBA, tax identification number, business type, address, phone, website, and industry classification), beneficial owner and principal information (name, title, ownership percentage, date of birth, government identification number, contact details, and home address), processing profile, and bank account information used for settlement.
Sensitive identifiers such as full Social Security numbers, Employer Identification Numbers, and bank account numbers are transmitted securely to our payment processing partner and are not retained by us in plain text; we store only masked references (for example, the last four digits) needed to service your account.
Information we collect automatically
When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as your device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and referring pages. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept them through our cookie banner.
Information from third parties
To evaluate merchant applications, our payment processing partner and its underwriting and verification providers may collect and share information about you and your business, including identity, credit, and risk verification data, consistent with their own privacy practices and applicable law.

- Service providers and processors: with our payment processing partner (Finix) for payments and underwriting, and with vendors that provide hosting, transactional email, analytics, and bot-protection services, in each case to perform services on our behalf.

- Legal and compliance: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ThryvePay, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal, tax, underwriting, and card-network obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We minimize retention of sensitive identifiers as described above.
Data security
Payment information is processed on PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest and tokenization, provided through our processing partner Finix. We do not store full government or bank identifiers in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
